The GW 8W is a high-performance OEM mechanical seal designed as a direct replacement for Allweiler® BAS, SPF, ZAS, and ZASV series spindle and screw pumps. Its O-ring mounted conical spring design provides consistent sealing face contact and reliable performance, even under variable pressure conditions and in media with higher viscosity.
This seal is constructed with advanced sealing face materials, including Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Tungsten Carbide (TC), offering excellent resistance to wear and abrasion, which is critical for prolonged operation in oil and fuel transfer applications. The seal's design supports efficient operation in pumps handling viscous fluids, making it a dependable choice for marine and industrial duties.
