This component is designed with an “O” ring mounted sealing surface with multi-springs. It is available in both full cross-section and narrow cross section, and the drive of the shaft is fastened using set screws tightened with the hex key. The multi-springs provide even closing forces around the sealing face circumference, which lead to improved pV capability and higher performance.
This type has a narrow radial profile to suit the American ANSI B73-1974 centrifugal pump dimensions standard.
It is suited for pump such as the Goulds 3196MTX, Chemineer DTNS-50, IMO ACE 025 K1 A368 and 41 others.
