The GW HOM2 is a high-performance OEM mechanical seal designed specifically for Alfa Laval Contherm® scraped surface heat exchangers. These systems handle viscous, abrasive, and crystallizing media, requiring seals that maintain integrity under mechanical scraping forces and thermal cycling. The seal incorporates premium materials like Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Tungsten Carbide (TC), which provide exceptional hardness and wear resistance, critical for prolonged service life in continuous operation.
